This study aims to examine the influence of the elements within the promotional mix on the decision-making process of specialized physicians in Amman. In order to achieve the objectives of the study and test its hypotheses, a random sample of 355 physicians is selected from a population of 1380 physicians. The study instrument is distributed to the participants, and a retrieval rate of 86% is obtained for the distributed questionnaires. Simple and multiple linear regression tests are employed to test the study hypotheses. The findings of the study revealed a statistically significant impact of the collective promotional mix elements on the prescription decisions made by specialized physicians in Amman. Specifically, sales promotion, public relations, and advertising are found to have the greatest influence on prescription decision-making. On the other hand, the significance of personal selling and publicity diminished in the presence of other elements due to a significant internal relationship among them. The study underlines the significance of pharmaceutical companies utilizing the promotional mix elements to influence the prescription decisions of physicians, with particular emphasis on sales promotion and public relations when devising and implementing marketing strategies.
