Basis of Tort Liability Arising from Artificial Intelligence Technologies in Jordanian Legislation
摘要
The applications of liability for artificial intelligence systems include the responsibility of the legal guardian and the liability for the acts of the subordinate. Machines are a set of solid objects whose purpose is to convert work into another form or thing, deriving their motion from a motor or driving force, whether that force is generated by steam, water, electricity, oil, or atomic energy. The problem with the study is that Jordanian legislation has not addressed the concept of things and machines that may cause harm to others, including artificial intelligence technologies, and the general legal rules in Jordanian legislation are not sufficient to address the determination of the legal nature of artificial intelligence technologies. We cannot hold the subordinate accountable for damages resulting from the use of artificial intelligence technologies, as it is derivative rather than primary liability. Therefore, we need to understand the legal adaptation and the basis of liability arising from artificial intelligence.
