PCL Substituting Total Knee Arthroplasty
摘要
This chapter reviews the history, design, and clinical results of the posterior stabilized total knee arthroplasty (PS knee). It compares the design to the posterior cruciate sparing total knee arthroplasty (CR knee) which is the other major total knee and outlines the benefits and clinical results. The PS knee substitutes for the posterior cruciate ligament with a post on the tibial polyethylene insert and can be used for all degrees of preexisting knee deformity.
