Anatomy: Cruciate Ligaments and Knee Surfaces

The chapter reviews the anatomy of the cruciate ligaments along with the surface anatomy of the femur, tibia, and patella. The innervation and blood supply are also discussed with the possible effects upon proprioception. The motion of the knee is a result of the ligament balance and the constraints from the anatomic surfaces.
