Robotic Technique
摘要
Robotic assistance has been increasingly utilized in total knee arthroplasty over the last decade. There are currently several robotic systems on the market that are Food and Drug Administration-approved for total knee arthroplasty. These systems can be classified based on their level of autonomy, imaging requirements, and compatibility with implants. The literature contains reports demonstrating improved component placement and alignment, as well as decreased lengths of stay and episode-of-care costs, and up to 5-year improved clinical outcomes with these new technologies.
