Text Association

This chapter is concerned with the text association as the fundamental task of text mining. Text association is the process of extracting association rules of texts from text sets. Each association consists of its conditional part and its causal part, and its relation is unidirectional. Text association may be used for reinforcing information retrieval system. Therefore, this chapter is intended to provide a description about text association as the elementary text mining task.
