The Impact of Strategic Planning and Change Management on Business Performance: A Systematic Review Study

In general, this study sought to understand the significance of implementing strategic planning and its efficacy in changing, as well as the most prevalent types of change in the security field and the impact of strategic planning and its role in managing change in policing. The descriptive approach was the methodological strategy that the researcher used in the study procedures. The study’s findings demonstrated that there is a complementary relationship between strategic planning and the process and change in organizations. Specifically, it is demonstrated that strategic planning in change management involves transitioning from the current state of the organization to a new, better one and implementing new procedures, methods, and behaviors in one of the various aspects of life to meet their various needs and provide a blueprint for achieving the organization’s goals. The report suggests that the process of strategic transformation be made more transparent and that information regarding the adjustments required to enhance company performance results be shared.
