摘要

The article examines the experience of developed countries in the formation of investment and innovation policy and suggests its application for Ukraine, taking into account the best experience of the world leader—the USA. The authors considered key aspects of the investment environment and innovative approaches that contributed to economic growth and increased competitiveness of the leading countries. The article describes the theoretical foundations and practical experience of developed countries in the field of investment and innovation policy, considering the USA as a leading country in this direction. In particular, the article highlights the mechanisms of attracting investments, stimulation of research and development of the latest technologies, as well as effective tools for regulating the innovation sector. The authors also consider the possibilities of using foreign experience to improve Ukraine’s investment and innovation policy. The current state of the investment and innovation policy in Ukraine is determined and the directions for intensifying the attraction of foreign investments are proposed. Recommendations are provided adapting for this experience to the conditions of the Ukrainian economy and calls for the active implementation of innovations to support sustainable economic growth.
