The surface anatomy of the face (Fig. 3.1) and its correlated use with ultrasound is important during aesthetic imaging. The key target points of injection such as the temporal fossa, piriform recess and masseter region requires a sound understanding of the anatomical landmarks (Fig. 3.2) associated with each area.
