Conclusion: What Legal and Forensic Psychology Is Not
摘要
The aim of this final chapter is to tie together the main messages from previous chapters, cementing the differentiation between pseudoscience and actual scientific knowledge within legal and forensic psychology. Besides reflecting on and summarising the themes of previous chapters, a cohesive presentation of the main misconceptions about these psychology domains will be provided, as well as key cues for recognising pseudoscience. Finally, other important topics and sources of valuable information within legal and forensic psychology, that exceeded the scope of this book, will be briefly introduced as they too require thorough examination and readers’ attention.
