A Computer Aided Detection System for Lung Nodules Classification
摘要
Lung cancer is the most popular type of cancer and a significant disease worldwide. Radiologists mostly prefer computer-aided detection (CAD) systems, and it's the most essential and popular method. The CAD systems have the necessary steps to acquire data to show results. The segmentation is an integral part of the CAD system, and region growth, Threshold, and active shape models are standard methods of lung segmentation. Accuracy is the close of an actual measurement percentage value. Alcohol and smoking is more common reason cause of lung cancer. In this work, we describe lung nodules and the comparison accuracy rate with Age vs alcohol is 84.6%, and Age vs. smoking is 86.7%. Age vs Alcohol positive predictive value of 23.1%, 87.6%, false discovery rates of 76.9%, 12.4%. In this work, Age vs Alcohol's true positive rates were 8.3% and 96.9%, and false negative rates (fnr) were 91.7% and 4.1%. Again, the Age vs smoking true positives rate (tpr) is 0% and 99.3%, and the false negatives rate is 100% and 0.7%.
