Beneficial Microbes in Plant Health, Immunity and Resistance
摘要
Beneficial microorganisms play an important role in plant health and growth. They induce the host to improve resistance against a wide range of pathogens, a process known as induced systemic resistance (ISR). A recent advancement in plant immunity engineering technology is the setup of immunity inducers. In this review, we discuss about the role of beneficial microbes in plant health immunity, application and discuss actual prospects of immunity inducers. We also examine the role of beneficial microbes in plant disease resistance through early ISR events, reactive oxygen species, callose deposition, Ca2+ influx, defense-related genes and resistant mechanisms.
