Anemia
摘要
Anemia is the most common consult during hematology inpatient rotations. An appropriate evaluation of the anemic patient requires detailed medical history that includes age at onset, ethnicity, family history, and assessment of acute and chronic comorbidities. Laboratory complements the patient history for accurate diagnosis. In this chapter, we will review our approach to the evaluation and treatment of nutritional anemias, immune mediated hemolytic anemias, and congenital hemolytic anemias that may be encountered during in the wards.
