摘要

Nanoparticle-based bioinsecticide has been shown to be a novel method of pest control in today’s world because it reduces the use of various insecticides, which pollute the environment, thus promoting sustainable agriculture. These new compounds enhance the performance of insecticides on the market by incorporating nanotechnology to attempt to deliver a specific amount of chemical to the pests while minimizing the amount that affects the nearby environment and increasing crop production. As research advances, nanoparticle-based insecticides are anticipated to be applied in integrated pest management (IPM) as a way of dealing with the problem of resistance and environmental issues from pesticide use. Moreover, nanosize insecticides can be used in combination with biopesticides and natural pest control mechanisms to increase the efficiency of pest control while promoting ecological balance among agricultural organisms. In this way, not only do nanoparticle-based insecticides improve crop protection, but also sustainable agricultural processes, from farm input to farm output, can respond to dynamic environmental pressures and promote safer food-consumption trends.
