Maxwell’s Equations for Advanced Electronic/Optoelectronic Devices
摘要
Comprehensive modeling and numerical simulation techniques for emerging nanoscale semiconductor devices to capture the interactions between electromagnetics and quantum mechanics are necessary. At low frequency, since the quasi-static electromagnetics approximation is valid, the Poisson’s equation and time-independent or time-dependent Schrödinger equation are used to get the carrier transport properties of nanoscale semiconductor devices.
