摘要

Global sea levels have gone through a series of fluctuations since millions of years ago. The rising and falling sea level observed through previous sedimentology, and fossil records indicated that this process occurred slowly over a long period. A global consensus on the recent sea-level rise rate has caught the community's interest. The main concern is that human-induced climate change may accelerate the relative sea-level rise in the next coming century. Most of the countries in Southeast Asia are maritime, surrounded by the ocean. Therefore, understanding past, current and future sea level changes is crucial to draw the picture of future sea levels in this region.
