How to Develop a Digital Mindset: Insights from Executive Coaching in Germany

Visionary game changers who provide orientation in the digital age have a specific mindset. This article presents some impulses about how to develop a digital mindset. After a brief illustration of the key elements of a digital leader mindset, two coaching tools will be presented: (1) the digital mindset checkup and (2) a poster that can be used for storytelling in coaching sessions based on the metaphor of “adaptive leaders as jugglers.” Both tools can be employed in executive coaching programs to raise awareness about the significance of a specific mindset as the foundation for successful leadership in the digital age.
