Elbow Dislocation
摘要
The arthroscopy of the elbow joint after elbow dislocation is a good diagnostic and treatment tool. Intraarticular side pathologies like cartilage damage, loose bodies, and ligament ruptures can be detected and in the same procedure be treated. For the experienced surgeon, it is possible to treat fractures arthroscopically. The standard instruments for the arthroscopy of little joints can be used. For the preparation of the surgery, the positioning of the patient must be chosen according to the surgeon’s preference. The surgical techniques and postoperative measures are depending on the injury. The most published complication is nerve injury, and this risk can be minimized by visualizing the nervous anatomy and safety precautions.
