An Innovative Intelligent Method for Crashing Projects with Normally Distributed Activity Times
摘要
The program evaluation and review technique is amongst the most effective modeling and computing tools for project management professionals. This classical technique can be used to deal with project crashing problems where activity times are assumed to have crisp values. Recently, we have proposed some innovative methods which can support management board to schedule and crash projects wherein activity times are assumed to have crisp and fuzzy values as well as to schedule projects wherein activity times are assumed to be normally distributed random variables. This paper presents an innovative method, utilizing a fuzzified chance constraint approach and fuzzy programming, to crash projects wherein activity times are assumed to be normally distributed.
