Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation for Pain in Breast Cancer: From Background to Management

Breast cancer-related pain (BCRP) is a common problem in women undergoing breast cancer treatment. Studies indicate that many medical, surgical, demographic, genetic, and psychosocial factors play an active role in the development of pain. It is important to consider all factors for effective pain management in this patient group. In this chapter, BCRP is mentioned, and the effects of physiotherapy and rehabilitation approaches used in BCRP management are highlighted.
