Oncological Treatment of Breast Cancer
摘要
Treatment of breast cancer patients is assessed after appropriate staging and pathological evaluation, classifying cases into metastatic and nonmetastatic, and further into three primary histological types: HER2-positive, hormone receptor (HR)-positive, and triple-negative disease. Nonmetastatic cases are additionally classified based on tumor size and lymph node involvement into early-stage and locally advanced diseases for treatment planning. This section describes the oncological treatment of breast cancer, which is segmented according to staging and pathological classification.
