Quality of Life in Breast Cancer Patients
摘要
The increasing incidence of breast cancer, early diagnosis, and the development of effective treatments have contributed to improvements in survival and brought the concept of quality of life for breast cancer patients onto the agenda. Quality of life is of critical importance in all stages of cancer, including cancer diagnosis, treatment, palliative care, and survival. It is therefore important to assess the impact of the disease and treatments on the quality of life of breast cancer patients. The quality of life of breast cancer patients is affected by many physical and psychological symptoms caused by the disease and cancer treatment. Addressing the physical, social, functional, and emotional well-being of breast cancer patients with a holistic approach during the disease and treatment process increases treatment compliance and the likelihood of treatment success. Therefore, educational and behavioral interventions are needed to improve the quality of life of patients with breast cancer.
