Upper Back and Neck Problems and Management in Breast Cancer Survivorship
摘要
Constantly updated methods and pharmacological agents in the context of cancer treatment have led to an increase in patient survival rates. However, multimodal treatments for cancer are associated with side effects that can negatively affect patients’ functionality and quality of life. Upper body and neck problems are common consequences caused by these side effects. Physiotherapy and rehabilitation approaches to managing these problems are important in helping people return to everyday life and cope with treatment-related side effects. This chapter presents a framework for upper body and neck problems and approaches to their management among breast cancer patients/survivors.
