Conclusions
摘要
This chapter sums up my findings delineating my conclusions. It is my hope that this (limited) case study can be used as an explorative endeavor in addressing the empirical research of generations. My findings are structured along two lines. The first hopes to have used the comparative method in order to suggest the existence of generational effects, that is of specific frames of perception distinctive to the parents as opposed to the generation of their offspring—frames of perception that tend to be shared across class, ethnicity, and gender differences. My second finding aims to offer a “family resemblance” of the biological generations I presented in this book hoping that my rich case study will allow the reader to grasp the spirit, or the “style,” of the periods I covered here.
