Toward a European Union Village
摘要
This chapter addresses the third generation of villagers, those born in the 1970s, who were young adults or in their late teens at the time of the property and political regime change of 1989, and who negotiated their life trajectories in the context of post-communist Romania. The chapter offers a landscape of this biological generation. It addresses the life accounts of a university-trained engineer who has worked for a series of multinational corporations, two local entrepreneurs, a social worker, and an industrial worker.
