Difference

This chapter confronts social difference as a theme: exploring, first, how and why different groups experience the harms of climate change with differing severities. Next, it documents some of the most influential formulations of climate justice and visions for alternative futures, as these have emerged from the efforts and traditions of marginalized groups.
