The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into social media marketing is fundamentally reshaping the digital landscape, democratizing access to professional-grade tools and empowering individuals with computational intelligence for content creation and consumption. This chapter elaborates on this transformative shift by introducing an integrative framework that conceptualizes AI-enabled social media marketing as a dynamic, cyclical process comprising four interrelated components: (1) AI-supported content generation, (2) AI-mediated user interaction, (3) user response to AI-marketing, and (4) AI-human co-learning and co-adaptation. By synthesizing emerging research across these domains and their interconnections, this chapter highlights ongoing developments in AI-enabled social media marketing, discusses rising concerns (such as authenticity erosion, algorithmic bias, and ethical risks), and outlines future opportunities and challenges.
