Unlocking the Future: Reaching a Conclusion
摘要
This study examined the complexities of building envelope design, focusing on its multidimensional challenges and the need to balance a broad range of inter-connected factors. Central to the research is the concept of “unlocking”, which refers to overcoming previous limitations through innovative strategies. The work explores a spectrum of current innovative trends within the framework of building envelope design, ranging from the macro-scale to the micro-scale. The results emphasize the shift from a “one-size-fits-all” approach to adaptive, human-centered design, highlighting increasingly precise methods for addressing occupants’ needs. The study concludes that successful design solutions require interdisciplinary collaboration, and that the proficient implementation of innovative solutions plays a key role in creating sustainable and resilient building envelopes that meet both current and future needs.
