This paper presents one of the first anonymous handbook of machinery with geared systems that circulate since Renaissance. This handbook is discussed for its features of an early anonymous-authored collection of geared systems. Significant are the anonymous character of authorship and the variety of designs that demonstrate a well-established practice of commonly designed geared systems for several applications. Illustrations from the manuscript show several designs for several applications even with modern features of a successful implementation of gears.

摘要

This paper presents one of the first anonymous handbook of machinery with geared systems that circulate since Renaissance.
