The development of modern technologies opens up wide opportunities for the production and use of planetary hydraulic machines with wave-shaped central gearwheels and floating satellites. The article is devoted to the analysis of the conditions that determine the location and dimensions of the channels that supply the medium to the working chambers of machines that do not have valves. Execution of channels in end face and cylindrical toothed surfaces of links is compared. It has been found that for machines in which the stator has two more waves than the rotor, it is advisable to make both channels at the end of the stator or to make a low-pressure channel in the cylindrical toothed surface of the rotor, and a high-pressure channel in the stator.
