Analysis of Ipv6 Adoption in the Last Seven Years: A Systematic Mapping

IPv6 is of great importance today because the exhaustion of IPv4 addresses is a problem that the world faces; The study carried out focuses on carrying out a systematic mapping capable of analyzing the information from the documents previously carried out in the world regarding the issue of IPv6 adoption in the last seven years (2017–2023). Five research questions were created to obtain responses that contribute to the understanding of the area, search criteria were defined to obtain the expected documents and from them to extract the data and map them, with this a response was obtained to which countries in the world have the greatest influence on the subject, their main authors, terms and the evolution that has taken place on the subject in these seven years.
