Inclusive and accessible publishing can play a crucial role in actualising the United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 4 and 10 by ensuring that educational materials are available to all, including persons with disabilities. This chapter seeks to examine the current state of engagement towards inclusive publishing in Nigeria and the challenges hindering its implementation. Qualitative data were gathered from 11 key informants, including four members of the Nigerian Association of the Blind, and seven members of the Nigerian Publishers Association. Findings revealed a growing awareness among Nigerian publishers of the imperative to make print publications available in accessible formats. However, the adoption and implementation of the Marrakesh Treaty remains limited due to infrastructure and technical challenges, difficulties in accessing the target market, and the financial costs associated with producing and purchasing accessible publications. The chapter concludes that while there is a growing interest and foray into inclusive publishing within the Nigerian publishing industry, significant challenges persist, requiring targeted interventions and collaborative efforts.
