Prediction Model of Bubble Collapse Jet
摘要
ThisCollapse chapter focuses on the Kelvin impulse theory model for predicting the jet intensity and direction induced by the bubble collapse. Firstly, the basic assumptions of the Kelvin impulse theory model, the derivation procedure and the Kelvin impulse formulae for spherical and cylindrical bubblesCylindrical bubble are presented. Secondly, the boundary treatmentBoundary treatment methods such as Weiss theorem, image methodImage method and conformal transformation are introduced. Finally, typical results of the Kelvin impulse with the bubbles located in different boundary conditions such as near a particle, near a wall with a bulge, inside a dropletDroplet and near a hydrofoil are described, respectively.
