Design of a Digital Teslameter Based on a Magnetic Sensor
摘要
Magnetic field sensors are currently the most common detectors or transducers. These are more numerous in the industry as well as in electronic circuits. Their function is to convert information about the ambient magnetic field into a usable electrical signal. Among the types of existing magnetic field sensors, Hall effect sensors are mostly used in the industry due to their high resolution, sensitivity, ease of integration, and wide measurement range. The aim of this study is to develop a straightforward and affordable teslameter using an analog magnetic sensor based on the Hall effect, integrated into a plastic probe, specifically for educational purposes in magnetic field detection. To validate our sensor, we conducted comparisons with the results obtained from a conventional teslameter. The low-cost digital teslameter achieved an impressive accuracy rate of 99%, underscoring its effectiveness and reliability as a valuable tool for magnetic field measurement.
