Literature Review of Absorption Machine and Thermodynamic Modeling of Single-Effect Absorption Cooling Systems Using H2O-LiBr Pair
摘要
Due to ecological concerns and the high costs associated with traditional energy sources, there is a growing trend toward utilizing mechanical waste heat and renewable energy, particularly solar energy. Absorption solar refrigeration systems are emerging as a viable option for cooling production. This study focuses on an absorption machine that connects thermal energy from a flat plate solar collector to generate a cooling effect. To achieve this, it is essential to master the modeling of the absorption cycle by applying the first and second laws of thermodynamics at various points in the cycle. The historic evaluation, classification, working fluid, and configurations are also considered in this process. The primary goal is to size the components of the absorption machine accurately and enhance the coefficient of performance when the heat source temperature is high and readily available. This model is developed using a solver based on Matlab/Simulink programs.
