The Scientific Foundations of Archaeoastronomy
摘要
Archaeoastronomy is a intimately multi-disciplinary science, living in-between humanities and technical disciplines. The foundations of Archaeoastronomy are, consequently, related both to cognitive aspects of archaeological research and to technical treatment of objective data. The chapter’s aim is to discuss what the most desirable compromise between a rigorous scientific approach to data and the peculiar, human-dependent nature of archaeoastronomical records might be.
