FDI in Authoritarian States: Conclusions
摘要
Part I has provided insights into a number of the key dynamics that govern foreign direct investment in authoritarian states. In doing so, this research has also produced theory and empirical findings that have wider application to the study of portfolio investment, democracy, and the political economy of economic policymaking in general. This chapter will summarize the key findings of this research, discuss the implications for policy, and discuss the application of these findings to other areas of research.
