Diagnosis and Surgical Indications

In recent years, diastasis recti muscles have aroused the interest of surgeons, especially those dedicated to abdominal wall pathology. The therapeutic indications for diastasis recti were not immune to these changes, and for this we must consider multiple aspects, on the one hand the exclusively cosmetic indication, the presence of symptoms, and finally a combination of both, in short a correct indication based on an adequate evaluation (diagnosis).
