Extracting Entity Mentions
摘要
The first step of the entity linking pipeline is to locate phrases in text which we would like to disambiguate. These phrases are usually called mentions of entities or concepts. Mention extraction could be very challenging depending on the availability of resources. It is a critical component to the EDL pipeline since errors in this step are likely to be propagated into the following steps.
