Biodiversity and ecosystems throughout the globe are increasingly threatened by climate change. The ecosystems’ function and structure as well as their role in society are altered as a result of the change in species’ interactions with one another and with their environments due to climatic variations. In addition, climate change has the potential to wipe out endemic species that can adapt to alterations to a limited extent. Thus, Egypt joined the Convention on Biological Diversity in 1992 and ratified it in 1994. The parties were obliged to develop national plans for biodiversity protection in reference to article 6 of the convention. Obviously, the climate change has already affected biodiversity. Species and ecosystems may relocate or disappear according to the predicted future changes in the environment. Organisms have different atmospheric tolerances and dispersal abilities; therefore, some may modify their phonology (for example, their mating date), while others may adapt to new food supplies and localities. As a result, it is difficult to foresee the way communities could shift or how present relationships among species might be altered.
