Tourist Practices as a Pedagogical Tool in Osório/RS/Brazil

The work presents the pedagogical tourism project in Osório/RS/Brazil and proposes reflections on the potential of tourism as an educational practice. In this extension project, recreational and educational tourist routes were created throughout the municipality, offering these routes to municipal schools. At this stage, the pilot carried out with the 5th year of Elementary School is reported. As considerations, it is highlighted that pedagogical tourism can be an instrument to support the development of citizenship, belonging and appreciation of assets locations, contributing for the sustainable development of tourism municipal.
