This paper drew attention to the many syndromes of conflict between farmers and herders has significantly increased, with its center in the Middle Belt but expanding to other regions most especially Southwest part of Nigeria. One of the recurrent challenges that militating Nigeria is the menace of herders and farmers conflict which has resulted to socio-economic predicament and also affect growth and development of rural areas in the country. The conflicts (herders and farmers) has been in existent prior to forth republic but were not pronounced until recently. The emergency and intensity of these crisis are undermined by socio-economic, religious and development. Evidence have shown that female farmers are mostly affected because they are helpless whenever there is an attack in their communities.
