Confidence-Interval Elliptic Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets to Franchisor Selection
摘要
The best choice of franchisor is essential to the franchisee’s business success. Elliptic Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets (E-IFS) are used to describe the variability in the business environment, and index matrices are used as a modeling and problem-solving tool for the best company franchisee selection because of the dynamism in market characteristics. Using the ideas of index matrices and elliptic intuitionistic fuzzy sets, we presented an optimal franchise company selection method (E-IFFr) in our earlier work [58] to represent this diversity in the business environment. In this study, we use confidence interval E-IFS (CIE-IFS), which are initially introduced here, to expand the optimal method (E-IFFr) for choosing a franchise organization. Let’s refer to the updated E-IFFr approach as CIE-IFFr. Applying the suggested method to the numerical example of selecting the top courier franchisor from [58] demonstrates its efficacy. The investor has three options: optimistic, medium, and pessimistic.
