Inventory of Attitudes Towards School Inclusion: A Proposal for Discussion
摘要
The present research is aimed at constructing an inventory of attitudes towards school inclusion through the review, adaptation and reconstruction of the items present in the instruments of the analyzed publications. The inclusion criteria for the selection of the publications contemplate: period between 2019 and 2023 and containing at least 18 citations. The databases of the scientific journals consulted included Scielo and Google Scholar. The search generated 173 results, of which 152 were discarded after a process of evaluation of the presence or not of the inclusion criteria, in this sense, the total number of publications included in the study was 21. Among the results, the coincidence in the use of the Likert-type scale in the articles reviewed stands out, covering both even and odd scales. The reliability coefficients of the instruments vary from 0.72 and 0.75 to 0.90 - 0.92. The importance of the pioneering instruments of Larrivee & Cook (1979) and Verdugo Alonso et al. (1995), whose numerous adaptations show superior reliability to the original instruments, is emphasized. The construction of the Inventory of Attitudes toward School Inclusion is composed of three dimensions: cognitive, affective and behavioral with eight items each, totaling 24 in the instrument. The neutral wording of each item seeks to avoid bias in the responses.
