This research focuses on the analysis of virtual education and its promotion in the last two years as a result of confinement due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Highlights the importance of technology as an educational tool for accessing education in remote places without time restrictions. The study analyzes the use of information and communications technologies (ICTs) by teachers at all levels to disseminate teaching to students who do not have the possibility of accessing formal face-to-face education. The main objective is to investigate the strategies that arise in virtual education and that allow the student to access formal education without the need to go to a formal educational system that has established both physical infrastructure and schedules. This research highlights the usefulness of virtual education as an open tool that allows access to established plans and programs for education. To gather information that contributes to the study, academic bases and current research were used, thus establishing the significance of this modality and its direct relationship with new strategies. Once statistical data from Latin American countries has been analyzed, it is established that virtual education is a modality and tool that allows the expansion of education and, with it, knowledge without restrictions of place or itinerary, thus complying with the right that every person must have access to education.
