The challenge of combating corruption involves strengthening training to improve the understanding and attitude of the population towards this phenomenon. This article evaluates the results of the design and implementation of a training course on corruption prevention for university students of the Universidad Tecnológica Israel, located in Quito, Ecuador, who are taking the Ethics and Social Responsibility course. The course focused on the understanding of corruption, the identification of risk situations and the promotion of ethical behaviour in the university and work environment. The methodology used is quantitative and is based on a survey applied to the students who followed the course. The findings conclude that the course on anti-corruption policies contributes to improving the behaviour of university students with respect to this problem. The research shows the positive impact of training in corruption prevention to improve the quality of decision making and strengthen public confidence in institutions and society in general. It is concluded that similar programs should be promoted in other higher education and labour institutions to reduce corruption and promote integrity.
