Sky’s No Limit for Women: Achieving Gender Equity in Aviation

The paper examines the male-dominated aviation industry and outlines the benefits of augmenting female representation. The prevailing gender pay gap is identified as a pivotal concern. Building on this, a quantitative-qualitative scenario is constructed to underscore tangible and prompt results achievable by addressing the pay gap and increasing female participation in air transport operations, aligning with supranational recommendations. The findings demonstrate that financial gains are linked to a higher presence of women, emphasizing that bolstering women in air transport is not just essential but also contributes to operational success.
