The Participatory Process of Young People in Environmental Sustainability: Some Proposals

In recent years there has been a growing attention of the new generations towards the issues of environmental sustainability. Young people are increasingly embracing the principles of sustainability identified in the UN 2030 agenda, driven by the awareness that the new generations will pay the price for the effects of climate change. In this context, the preferences of the young generations therefore represent a great opportunity to support the ambitious European challenge of ecological transition. The objective of the document is to provide some reflections on the process of young people’s participation in the ecological transition and the problem of environmental sustainability. To this end, some documents will be taken into consideration which, at a national and European level, contain some policy indications aimed at supporting a participatory process of young people in the ecological transition.
