Thermoluminescence Properties of Metal Oxide Nanomaterials
摘要
The thermoluminescence characteristics of metal oxide nanoparticles are examined in this chapter with an emphasis on the way they detect ionizing radiation. Charge carriers that are trapped in a material’s crystal lattice and that release illumination are known as thermoluminescence. The chapter describes thermoluminescence experiment arrangements, presents results from several metal oxide nanoparticles like BiZnO, CaZnO, CeMgO, ZnMgO, and ZrO2 and talks about the glow curve properties of these nanoparticles. It highlights how ZrO2 performs and is more sensitive in detecting radiation application.
