摘要

Due to the continuous and increasing input of pollutants into the atmosphere the grade of air pollution and consequently the occurrence of respiratory diseases has increased. Starting from this problematic, researchers proposed a high-tech solution based on geomatics techniques and Big Data processing. The data collection was achieved through typical geomatics techniques: ground detection station and satellite data; data analysis and sharing were done with cloud technology. The combination of this technologies, beyond highlight the contribute of geomatic into environmental control and management, contribute also into the creation of the so called “smart cities”, cities that utilizes information and communication technologies (ICT) to enhance the efficiency of city operations, improve quality of life for residents, and promote sustainable development. Big Data underline the impact of pollution on our planet. The aim of this research is to utilize an integrated Web-GIS, still under development, which, starting from Big Data granted us to obtain a forecast model able to monitor the spread of respiratory diseases in relation to several parameters: increase and decrease of pollutants concentrations, soil orography, morphological and climatic characteristics; all of these parameters are inserted into a Geographic Information System (GIS). The main advantage of this solution is the capability to use and correlate a huge amount of data together and visualize the results into a Web-GIS.
